Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Pvt)Limited(AASL) donated Rs. 10 million to the Covid Fund yesterday(25).  The relevant check was handed over to the Minister of Health, Hon. Pavithra Wanniarachchi by the Chairman of the Airport  and Aviation Services(Sri Lanka)(Pvt)Limited, Retired Major General, G.A. Chandrasiri at the Ministry of Health.  The money will be used to control Covid pandemic in the Hambantota district and to purchase equipment including PCR machines for the PCR laboratory which is under construction at the old hospital in Hambantota.

Hon. Prasanna Ranatunga, Minister of Tourism, Hon. Namal Rajapaksa, Minister of Sports,Hon. D.V Chanaka, State Minister of Aviation and Export Zone Development,Hon. Kanchana Jayaratne, former Chairman of the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council, Director General of Health Services,Dr. Asela Gunawardena,  Deputy Chairman of AASL,Mr. Rajiv Sooriyarachchi were also present.
